Primer día de Cosecha Picual is an exclusive extra virgin olive oil harvested on the first day of the harvest.
Perfect for those who appreciate the exclusivity of limited editions, each year a personality from the arts, science or sport participates with Castillo de Canena in the celebration of this magical day that marks the beginning of the harvesting of our olives and gives the label his or her unique vision of this day.
DESCRIPTION
The uniquely designed bottle in opaque, cherry-coloured glass conceals an extra virgin olive oil of an intense green colour with a high concentration of chlorophylls and great expressiveness.
On the nose, this oil has a very young fruitiness of green grass, tomato, green apple and very green banana peel. On the palate it has the same expressive power as on the nose where similar herbaceous tones can be perceived, highlighting the freshness of tendrils and mallows.
These descriptors prevail over a pleasant spiciness, gently perceptible in the throat and evolving into fresh pepper, a slight bitterness and discreet astringency reminiscent of nettle. It is a velvety juice, very persistent in the mouth and structurally very balanced.
